‘Wildlife Gardening’
with Barbara MacFarlane

Barbara has been with TransTech Ltd at Connel for ten years working as Company Secretary and office administrator and has latterly diversified to carry out surveys for private water supplies and flood risk assessments. She also assists with benthic surveys for the aquaculture industry and phase 1 habitat surveys.

In the last few years, she has trained in several new disciplines and currently carries out habitat surveys for bats and otters in order that clients may comply with protected species legislation.

Wildlife Gardening, however, is Barbara’s passion.  She has run a school wildlife garden for seven years at Connel, as well as completely redesigning a new wildlife garden at home for the past two years”.

The talk starts at 19.30 hrs at the Seil Island Hall, Ellenabeich, Seil.

And is free to members, £2 for non-members.
